What Changes Between Beech Grove and the Macon County Line

Leaving Hartsville on Highway 10 you pass Beech Grove at about four miles and reach Lafayette seven or so miles further on, climbing the whole way. That climb is the reason a Lafayette stump is not the same job as a Hartsville stump of identical diameter.
